Daphne Maierna Coaching respects your privacy. This statement explains which personal data I collect through this website and my work, why I collect it, how long I keep it and what your rights are. I process personal data in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What data I collect and why
- Contact form. Your name, email address, phone number (optional), what you’re interested in and your message. I use these only to reply to you. Basis: your request (legitimate interest).
- Creative Being newsletter. Your first name, last name and email address. I use these to send you my newsletter, about once a month. Basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time with the unsubscribe link in every email.
- Booking a call. When you book a free call, Calendly processes your name, email address and the answers you give in the booking form, so that we can schedule the call. Basis: your request.
- Coaching and workshops. If you become a client: your name, contact details, billing details and the notes needed to provide the coaching or workshop. Basis: our agreement and, for invoices, my legal obligations.
Everything discussed during coaching sessions is treated confidentially. I don’t use your data for automated decision-making or profiling, and I never sell it.
Who else processes your data
I only share data with services I need to run my business, under a data processing agreement where required:
- [Website hosting provider], which hosts this website and the contact form messages.
- TransIP, for email.
- Mailblue (ActiveCampaign) and ConvertBox, for newsletter signups and sending the newsletter.
- Calendly, for booking calls.
- Zoom, for online sessions.
- [Accounting software], for invoices.
Some of these services are based outside the European Economic Area (for example in the United States). Where that’s the case, data is transferred under appropriate safeguards, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
How long I keep your data
- Contact form messages: up to [12 months] after our last contact, unless you become a client.
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
- Client records and notes: up to [2 years] after the coaching ends.
- Invoices and financial records: 7 years, as required by Dutch tax law.
Cookies
This website does not use analytics or advertising cookies. It only uses functional cookies and similar storage that are needed for the site to work, for example to remember that you’ve already seen or closed the newsletter signup form. These don’t require consent. [To confirm once the site is live.]
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive your data in a portable format. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Email info@daphnemaierna.com and I’ll respond within one month.
If you’re not satisfied with how I handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) at autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.
Security
I take appropriate measures to protect your data against loss and unauthorised access. This website uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and access to client data is limited to me.
