Welcome. I'm Daphne.
Over the last twenty years, I've somehow managed to make a living in film, trend research and coaching.
I've worked on international film productions, researched cultural shifts for brands and spent an unusual amount of time around directors, copywriters, DOPs, artists and other interesting creatives.
I've never been very good at doing just one thing. I'm far too curious for that.
I've been like this for as long as I can remember. When I was younger, I'd disappear down research rabbit holes. Ancient Egypt. Then the Second World War. Then cults, which eventually became the subject of my high-school research thesis.
Whatever caught my attention, I wanted to know everything about it.
And what else?
It's one of my favourite coaching questions.
My last name is Italian, but I was born and raised in Amsterdam. I think growing up between two cultures made me curious about different ways of seeing the world.
My books are full of highlighted passages and Post-it notes. My desktop is organised chaos. Folders inside folders.
At the moment, I'm really into experience design and Italian architect Tomaso Buzzi. By the time you read this, it might be something completely different.
I love long lunches that turn into dinner, ice cream and dancing. Whether that's at a festival or in my kitchen.
It's a bit of a mix. But a life well lived should be a little hard to summarise.
