Terms and Conditions

English translation of the Dutch “Algemene voorwaarden” of Daphne Maierna Coaching. If the two versions differ, the Dutch version prevails.

Appointments, cancellations and duration of services

Individual sessions last a maximum of 90 minutes. Where specific arrangements between Daphne Maierna and the client differ from the general guidelines on the website, those specific arrangements apply.

If a client wishes to cancel an appointment, they must do so by text message or email at least 24 hours in advance. If an appointment is cancelled later than this, or is not cancelled at all and the client does not attend at the agreed time, the full fee for the session will be charged. The client is not entitled to reschedule the missed appointment free of charge.

An introductory call is free of charge and without obligation. Daphne Maierna Coaching reserves the right to cancel a session or other activity if circumstances require it. In that case, every client involved will be informed without delay and is entitled to a replacement appointment with Daphne Maierna Coaching.

Limited liability

Daphne Maierna Coaching provides high-quality coaching sessions, workshops and coaching programmes, but cannot accept responsibility for the consequences clients attach to insights and ideas gained in the context of, or (partly) as a result of, the services of Daphne Maierna Coaching.

Rates, quotes and payments

Private clients receive an invoice for the services provided within fourteen days. Private clients pay a rate based on their financial means, as published on the website. A different rate may be agreed in special circumstances.

Daphne Maierna Coaching only sends electronic invoices by email.

Invoices must be paid within the payment term stated on the invoice. For each week, or part of a week, by which this payment term is exceeded, the client owes the statutory interest and administration costs. Overdue amounts, including the additional interest and administration costs, are immediately due and payable.

Privacy

I take my clients’ privacy seriously and only use your personal data in the context of my services. Private clients consent to the storage and processing of their personal data insofar as this is relevant to the administration of Daphne Maierna Coaching. Daphne Maierna Coaching stores as little data as possible, handles it with care and will never pass it on to third parties, unless required to do so by an unavoidable legal obligation. Everything discussed during individual sessions is treated confidentially.

Daphne Maierna Coaching does not share information about organisations with others. Here too, everything discussed during coaching sessions is treated confidentially.

Complaints

If you are dissatisfied with my support, please let me know as soon as possible by email. I ask you to describe the complaint as clearly as possible, so that I am able to respond and, if the complaint is justified, to put it right. I cannot deal with a complaint that is not clearly described.

Complaints must be reported to me within 14 days of completing a part of a programme. If you report the complaint later, you are no longer entitled to correction, replacement or compensation.

Complaints are answered within 14 days of the date of receipt. If a complaint is expected to take longer to deal with, you will receive an acknowledgement of receipt within those 14 days, with an indication of when you can expect a full response.

Submitting a complaint does not affect your obligation to pay.

Disputes

If a dispute arises between the client and Daphne Maierna Coaching that, in the opinion of both or either of the parties, cannot be resolved within the working relationship, the collaboration will be ended. In that case, both parties undertake to settle the finances (a refund of sessions paid in advance, or payment for sessions already received) as soon as possible, and no later than within two weeks. Dutch law applies.

Changes

Daphne Maierna Coaching reserves the right to change and supplement these Terms and Conditions without informing clients beforehand or afterwards. The current, most recent version of these Terms and Conditions can always be downloaded from the website.

Daphne Maierna Coaching is registered in the Trade Register of the Chamber of Commerce in Amsterdam under number 68110634, in the name of Daphne Maierna Coaching, Daphne Maierna, Haarlem.
